Firstly aged in Bourbon casks in the tropical climate of Trinidad, this rum is then shipped to the Chateau de Bonbonnet, France to be further matured in small Pierre Ferrand barrels under the whatchful eye of their award-winning cellar master. This special double ageing technique provides Plantation rum with its rare elegance and finesse.
Citrus fruit layered with peach and mango introduce an intense sensation aromas. Flowering honey soon emerges from a lightly wooded field of nutmeg and lightly peppered notes. Rising fruit notes flavour notes create a citrus explosion of lemon and pear. Grilled almond, popcorn and paprika complete the evolution. Peach, pepper and honey finish.
