Esporreres is a red wine from Montsant produced by the Companyia Vitícola Sileo with the Grenache grape variety and aged for twelve months in French oak barrels.

The grapes come from a single plot of Garnacha planted by mass selection on slate terraces that rise to 730 meters above sea level. The soil is made of slate from the Carboniferous period, poor and with low water retention that gives the grape a unique texture and mineral singularity. Its Northeast orientation captures the fragile morning light.

This plot, replanted in 1986, was part of a historic agricultural structure started by Carthusian monks in the mid-12th century.

Esporreres is a red wine with a clean and bright appearance. Picota cherry color with a medium layer with marked purple hues and fine and abundant medium-fall tears. On the nose it is clean and frank, highlighting the aromas of red fruits such as raspberry on a spicy background, with the appearance of vanilla and coconut.
