Cartesius Blanc is a white wine made by the Arché Pagès winery, located in the D.O. Empordà.
This monovarietal white wine made from the White Grenache grape comes from granite soil. Warm and dry Mediterranean climate. Land touched by the Tramontana. Respect for the land, manual agricultural work and mechanical tillage.
When the grapes arrive at the cellar, they are refrigerated in a cold room at 7ºC. It is peeled and macerated for 18 hours. It is pressed at low pressure. Decantation by cold for 48 h. Fermentation at controlled temperature (16ºC) in new French oak barrels of 500 liters. Raising with their mothers for 4 months. Smooth clarification and filtration before bottling.
