Francisco Barona is a red wine from Ribera del Duero produced by Barona Bodegas y Viñedos with the Tempranillo, Grenache and Albillo grape varieties and aged for 17 months in French oak barrels.
It is a red wine with a high robe, purplish red in color, clean and bright. Of great aromatic intensity, predominance of red fruit such as raspberry and blueberries, notes of black liquorice and cocoa. Spicy hints of fennel and cinnamon. Stone to rifle mineral finish. On the palate it is smooth, fresh, with sweet tannins and great persistence.
