Oda is a red wine from Costers del Segre produced by Castell del Remei with the Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot and Tempranillo grape varieties and aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
It is a deep and complex red wine, with the nobility provided by the iconic Bordeaux varieties and a measured and precise ageing. It is presented in a glass with a bright cherry color, high layer. The nose is wide and polyhedral, with balsamic notes and specialties typical of the ageing, which later pass the baton to rich nuances of candied black fruit, on a mineral background. Sweet tannins begin the palate, which benefits from a balanced acidity and a long finish, with persistent hints of dried fruit.
