Protos 9 Meses is an organic red wine from Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Protos with the Tinta del País grape variety and aged for 9 months in new barrels and one year in French oak barrels.
Protos 9 Meses is a distinguished wine with exquisite subtlety and finesse. Made with 100% country ink from vineyards framed in organic farming certification. The layout of the vineyard is on a hillside, with a North-South orientation. Clay-loam soil, with a certain alkaline character.
Ruby red with purple hues. Delicate aromas of black fruit well blended with the toasted aromas of the wood and a touch of sweet spices. Well structured on the palate. Tasty, balanced wine with very pleasant soft tannins and a very long fruity finish with toasted touches.
