Pétalos del Bierzo is a red wine from Bierzo produced by Descendientes de J. Palacios with the Mencía grape variety and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
The central Bierzo is a winding basin of worn hills, covered with continental scrub and Atlantic greenery. Higher up, in the town of Corullón, the surrounding mountains contrast with their much older geology. They are slopes and hills where the scattered oak shelters fields of rockrose, heather and oregano. Jovial and fragrant, it is the wine that expresses all the landscapes, flowers, soils and orientations of the region.
