Sileo is a red wine from Montsant produced by the Companyia Vitícola Sileo with the Grenache and Carignan grape varieties and is aged for nine months in French oak barrels.
This red wine is the expression of the diversity of the different soils that we find in the northeast area of Montsant: calcareous, clayey and clay-limestone. The Garnacha and Cariñena plots are located between Falset, Pradell de la Teixeta and Cornudella de Montsant.
Sileo is a red wine with a bright and clean appearance. Picota cherry color with a medium layer with marked purple hues. Thick and abundant tears, medium fall. On the nose it is clean and frank, where the aromas of red and black fruit (strawberries and blackberries) stand out, on a spicy background. On the palate it is fresh, fluid and glyceric, with sweet and well-integrated tannins in harmony with the alcohol and natural acidity of the wine.
