Royal Salute is a Scotch whiskey created in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England. Its name refers to the tradition of firing 21 salvoes from the Tower of London as a sign of respect for the Queen.
The bottles are made of porcelain and are made in a traditional way, and it has been aged for 21 years in oak barrels. It is a whiskey with a smooth and fresh flavor, with delicate notes of marmalade of sweet oranges and fresh pears, which are combined with hints of hazelnut and walnuts, and a subtle smoke.
This premium whiskey combines aromas of sweet vanilla and dry oak, which are enhanced by subtle notes of sherry and smoke. Royal Salute 21 years is suitable to consume alone or with ice and enjoy the sweet aroma of vanilla mixed with toasted oak and fruity notes.
