The "hidden" element that accentuates Yamazaki single malts is peated malt, which provides a rich, earthy undertone and a complex smoky backbone. This whiskey is made with a carefully selected peaty malt blend that creates the rich and refined smoky character for which Yamazaki is known.
Subtly smoked with notes of green herbs. Gently peeled with hints of earth, pineapple and citric notes on the palate and a complex finish with persistent peat.
