Ritme is a red wine made by the Ritme Celler winery, which belongs to the D.O.Q. Priorat. With all the respect, admiration and humility for the personality and history of Priorat they want to express their nobility, tradition and history through this wine.
They want to teach the rhythm of Priorat, the rhythm of the broken and cracked slate, the rhythm of the scorching sun in summer and warm and loving in winter, the rhythm of the brutal orography of the area, the rhythm of the personality of its inhabitants and traditions, the rhythm of the soul of its deep and mystical history... through the rhythm of old noble vines of indigenous varieties.
From old noble vineyards of 55% Grenache and 45% Carignan from different areas of the D.O.Q. Priorat. The vines are between 20 and 40 years old in the towns of Poboleda, Porrera, Bellmunt, El Molar, El Lloar and Cornudella. Heights from 300 to 650 meters. Slate terrain (slate).
Respecting the grape very much, they seek the varietal expressiveness of these autochthonous grapes. Manual harvest. Macerating the wine for about 15 days. Aged in French oak barrels with very light toasting for 10 months. It is not filtered or clarified to preserve its purest identity.
This red wine has an intense cherry color. Aromas of red fruit and spices. Well integrated wood notes. Tasty, fruity on the palate with ripe tannins.
