Luis Cañas Reserva is a red wine from Rioja produced by Bodegas Luis Cañas with the Tempranillo (95%) and Graciano (5%) grape varieties and is aged for 18 months in French and American oak barrels.
The wines destined for the elaboration of the Reserva come from vineyards in which the average age is 40 years old and that after their elaboration are tasted and the most suitable type of wood for their aging is defined.
It is a well covered red wine. On the nose it is very pleasant, subtle and elegant, classy, very complex, hints of fine woods, ripe fruit, coffee... On the palate it is oily, round, unctuous and well structured, with juicy tannins. Spicy nuances appear in retroolfaction.
