Alaya Tierra is a red wine from Almansa produced by Bodegas Atalaya with the Grenache grape variety and aged for 15 months in French and American oak barrels.
The old Garnacha Tintorera vineyards are located at about 1,000 meters of altitude, the production is very low and the size of the berries is very small. It has remained 15 months in mainly French oak barrels and a small proportion of American oak.
It is an intense cherry red wine with a very high robe and vivid red tones. Interesting and complex aromatic set where minerals and very ripe black red fruits stand out, with pleasant memories of new wood. On the palate it is broad, powerful, dense and mature, with a balanced acidity and silky texture that surprises us with an original sweetness in a very long finish.
